CC Madhya 12.14

sabe kahe, — prabhu tāṅre kabhu nā milibe
āmi-saba kahi yadi, duḥkha se mānibe
Word for word: 
sabe kahe — everyone said; prabhu — Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tāṅre — unto him; kabhu — at any time; — not; milibe — would see; āmi-saba — all of us; kahi — say; yadi — if; duḥkha — unhappiness; se — Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; mānibe — will feel.
Translation: 
The devotees gave their opinion and said, “The Lord will never meet the King, and if we requested Him to do so, the Lord would surely feel very unhappy.”
