vipra bale, — “yadi hao caturbhuja-mūrti
tabu tomāra vākye kāru nā habe pratīti

Translation:
The young brāhmaṇa replied, “My dear sir, even if You appear there as a four-handed Viṣṇu Deity, still, none of those people will believe in Your words.
