rukmiṇyā haraṇaṁ śrutvā
gīyamānaṁ tatas tataḥ
rājāno rāja-kanyāś ca
babhūvur bhṛśa-vismitāḥ

Translation:
The kings and their daughters were totally astonished to hear the story of Rukmiṇī’s abduction, which was being glorified in song everywhere.
