nando gopās’ ca gopyaś ca
govinda-caraṇāmbuje
manaḥ kṣiptaṁ punar hartum
anīśā mathurāṁ yayuḥ
Translation:
Unable to withdraw their minds from Lord Govinda’s lotus feet, where they had surrendered them, Nanda and the cowherd men and women returned to Mathurā.
