diter dvāv eva dāyādau
 daitya-dānava-vanditau
hiraṇyakaśipur nāma
 hiraṇyākṣaś ca kīrtitau

Translation: 
First the two sons named Hiraṇyakaśipu and Hiraṇyākṣa took birth from Diti’s womb. Both of them were very powerful and were worshiped by the Daityas and Dānavas.
